Job Description:
As a Full-Time Store Opener at Local Gas in Frankfort (former Adirondack Food and Fuel), you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for our customers’ day. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our store is open and ready to welcome customers with a smile and a warm greeting. You’ll prepare our signature coffee and breakfast items, ensuring everything is fresh and inviting. Additionally, you’ll be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our store, creating a pleasant shopping environment.
Responsibilities:
- Open the store promptly on scheduled days.
- Prepare coffee, breakfast pizza, sandwiches, and hash browns before store opening.
- Greet all customers warmly as they enter the store.
- Handle cash and operate POS, Lotto, and Cat Scale terminals efficiently.
- Prepare lunch menu items for the day.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including the coffee bar, bathrooms, showers, and outdoor areas.
- Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure product availability.
- Perform additional tasks as required to ensure the store operates smoothly.
Working Hours:
Monday through Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Note: Weekend availability is required, but shifts will not be scheduled every weekend.
Compensation:
$16 – $18 per hour
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in retail or food service is preferred but not required.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
